“Thanks to all who organised this program! It was an amazing chance to get informed and experience what it takes to enter a foreign market. Also, I got lots of experience on how to present my startup in front of potential partners and investors and due to that, I increased my presentation skills. I think now I know how to manage the next step of my international expansion.”

FAQ
Do I need an idea or an established business?
You need to have an established business that offers innovative solutions.
Who can participate in the programme?
Registered Brazilian legal entities that are active in the Brazilian ecosystem, have been generating revenue and innovation and consider scaling to the EU market.
Does the registration guarantee my participation?
No, the registration is just a first step through which you can showcase your interest and availability to take part in the Programme. The organisers have full autonomy in the selection process of the participants.
How many people can participate in the programme from my company?
Maximum two people can participate from your company in the programme. However, as an audience, other colleagues are welcomed at the internal demo day and official demo day.
Is there a competition between the participating teams?
Yes, only 10 companies can participate in the programme. All 10 startups can participate in the Internal Demo Day, however, only the best 6 companies can later pitch on the Demo Day. We believe that motivation is key, therefore, the 2 best companies that are chosen by the Demo Day jury, will receive a 2-hour personal consultation session.
What is the selection criteria?
This program is most relevant to Brazilian Startup/SME/Scaleups with paying customers, revenue growth and the ambition to expand internationally. So we’re looking for tech companies that...
-
Have a legal entity based in Brazil
-
Want to scale abroad and want to be ready to take the next step
-
Have paying customers and revenue growth
-
Are eager to learn and committed
-
Believe their product is suitable for the European Market
The second step in the recruitment and selection process is:
-
Product Innovativeness
-
Market fit
-
Team
-
Local Market Validation
What is the time commitment?
We strongly encourage everyone to attend all sessions. Given the short time-frame of the programme, if you miss more than one session with no valid reason, you cannot attend the internal demo day.
We plan to record the sessions and share them with everyone, provided there are no technical difficulties. If you can’t join a particular session, we’ll give you the session material.
What do I need to join?
All sessions are taking place online, so you only need access to the internet and a computer.
Do I need to submit anything at the end of the programme?
Yes, you have to submit your pitch deck and you have to fill out a questionnaire answering questions about the programme and giving feedback.
